Captains Gig on the boat boom at Git Mo Bay, Cuba

Running liberty boats? The Captain's Gig is at the ladder and the whaleboat is in the forefront. I believe Gary Roberts is the coxswain.

Coming along side to set up a high line.

Hooked up and transferring personnel.

Bringing an LSU into the well deck.

A lousy shot of the well deck.

George Sudak and Ken Dooley.

Ballasted down and killing time on the port wing wall during the Caribbean cruise the spring of 1966.

I think this was when the Captain's Gig was returned to the ship after it was overhauled while we were in the yards in late 1966

Arriving in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Swimming in the well deck. A sand shark got in, so everyone got out.

Left to right: Raposa BM2, ? Walz, Den Dooley. I know this was taken prior to going to the ship yards because we got all new berthing compartments during the overhaul.
